The Building a Better Response (BBR) project has launched a series of integrated learning workshops to strengthen NGO capacity on the international humanitarian architecture. These 3-day workshops for NGO staff will build on the BBR e-learning course (www.BuildingABetterResponse.org) to improve understanding of the international coordination system and help participants identify where they can take action and engage directly within the system.

The Canadian Workshop is scheduled for Toronto, Canada, May 2015

All workshops will be conducted in English.

If you are interested in attending one of these workshops, please send a request for additional information to: bbr@internationalmedicalcorps.org.

The “Building a Better Response: Strengthening Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Capacity and Engagement in the International Humanitarian Architecture” project aims to strengthen the capacity of national and international NGO personnel, as well as other humanitarian actors, to engage with the humanitarian systems and architecture in a manner that improves overall coordination and response to the needs of affected populations. The BBR project is funded by USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance and is being implemented by a consortium of International Medical Corps, Concern Worldwide, and Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
